Bike Course tips
  • Check out the hilly part, but also be prepared for the long coastal stretch.
  • Don’t pump up your tyres too hard – it’s a bumpy road.

  • Flat, with amazing atmosphere.
  • A 5km stretch with less spectators but the rest is main road Port Elizabeth all the way, packed with crowds.


Run course tips
  • Don’t forget to stop at the sunscreen tent.
  • Put a jacket in your special needs bag if you will finish after sunset – it gets cold!

SUPPORTERS

Tips for supporters get the most out of watching the event?
  • Stay in a hotel on Main Road and you will have prime viewing.
  • Radisson Blu is right on the race course for the bike and run, 2km from the start/finish. 
  • The Boardwalk race hotel can get very overwhelming if it’s your first race.
